Half-Life: Generation

[CENTER][IMG]https://combineoverwiki.net/images/thumb/6/6f/Half-Life_Generation.jpg/250px-Half-Life_Generation.jpg[/IMG] [/CENTER] [I][B]Half-Life: Generation[/B][/I] is a series of game compilation releases, which include updated versions of [I]Half-Life[/I], [I]Opposing Force[/I], [I]Blue Shift[/I], [I]Team Fortress Classic[/I] and [I]Counter-Strike[/I]. Three different versions of [I]Half-Life: Generation[/I] were released in Europe and Israel. The same compilations were released for the North American, Australasian and South African markets under different names.

The first version of [I]Half-Life: Generation[/I] was released in 1999 in a black box with orange lettering. It consisted of [I]Half-Life: Opposing Force[/I] and [I]Half-Life: Game of the Year Edition[/I], which also included [I]Team Fortress Classic[/I] on the same CD. Outside of Europe this compilation was known as [I]Half-Life: Adrenaline Pack[/I] and included 3 separate CDs.

The second edition was released in 2000 and used a similar box design. It included all of the games from the previous version with the addition of [I]Half-Life: Counter-Strike[/I]. It was called [I]Half-Life: Platinum Collection[/I] outside of Europe and included 4 CDs.

The third release in 2002 featured a blue colored box with white text, another CD with [I]Half-Life: Blue Shift[/I] was added. This release was also known as [I]Platinum Collection[/I] outside of Europe.
